Julie Konrad, AYS
Julie Konrad is a certified Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS). Ayurveda is rooted in the knowledge that humans follow the same rules and laws as other natural beings. When we ignore natural laws then imbalances begin to occur. These imbalances are what causes disharmony and disease in the mind and body. This system of medicine takes a look at the individual’s unique psychological, emotional and physical conditions and imbalances and uses elemental principles to bring balance back to the body. Julie works with individuals to set solid sleep, self-care, diet, meditation and exercise routines that strengthen the body, mind and spirit and allow the body’s own natural healing mechanisms to work. Julie is currently finishing her graduate degree to become an Ayurvedic Health Counselor (AHC) through the Himalayan Institute. Julie has been a speaker at the Rheumatology Nurses Society annual conference in 2016 and 2017 and has worked with The Cleveland Indians, and Case Western Reserve Medical School.
